B.E.H.S. B.E.A.Ts the competition.
Bullitt East’s cheerleading team placed first in their division, took home LIT champions, and qualified for state this weekend at State Regionals.
In order to qualify for state, East competed against Southern High School in the Small Coed division. “The team simply outnumbered Southern, they only had one boy where we have four. It was no surprise to me that we won first place.” added fan Angie Foreman about the end results.
Cheerleaders and coaches were pretty positive about their performance, “I think we did very well. The difficulty level is amazing.” Coach Nate Fulghum enthusiastically stated after the competition.
“I think we performed better than our first competition.” stated sophomore cheerleader Meghan Roby “but overall it could of been better and we could have been more tight and clean.”
The team heads to Disney World on February 9th – 13th for UCA Nationals in Orlando, Florida. Once they get back they will compete in State Finals on February 18th in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
