12/05/14 - Join us for an evening of fun and reading at the EMS Winter Reading Wonderland on Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:30. Reading events include: Reading Fair Judging with EMS Celebrities, Viewer's Choice Award (bring your pennies or dollars to vote for your favorite Reading Fair project), Ugly Sweater and Dress like your Favorite Character Contests, Holiday Shopping at the Scholastic Book Fair, Selfies with Santa, Art-tastic Drawing Lessons with the Manga Club, Complimentary Cocoa at the Read-a-Latte Cafe, and Holiday Story Time for the little ones. 

11/25/14 - Big News!  In order to help BCPS prepare for success the Bullitt County School District and Microsoft are providing Office to every student and staff member FREE of charge. With Office 365, students and staff will now have access to the latest version of Word, for writing; Excel, for spreadsheets; PowerPoint, for presentations; OneNote, for organization and note taking; and much more. Click here for details on how to receive Microsoft Office free of charge.

11/24/14 - The 2014-2015 BCPS Calendar has been amended to reflect the recent snow day.  March 20th is being used to make up that snow day.  Click here for the updated calendar.

11/20/14 - Hey Eastside students! Eastside's Journalism class would like your opinion.  Click here to take the Journalism Survey.

11/18/14 - Do you have old technology sitting around your home or business? Please consider donating it for Eastside’s Technology Recycling Fundraiser.  Parents and students can drop-off these old working or non-working items to help the school raise money for new technology:  Desktop computers, laptops, computer monitors, cell phones, tablets, mp3 players, printers and printer cartridges, as well as electrical wiring, power cords and chargers.  Items can be dropped off before, after or during school.  We cannot accept TV's. 

11/07/14 - Chick-fil-A Spirit Night! People like you make our community a special place. But don’t forget the cows! Tell you what, stop by and present the linked card to the Chick-fil-A at Glenmary on  “Spirit Night”, November 17th from 5-8 pm.  Based on the sales of the evening, we will make a 15% donation to your school.  Not only are the cows happy, but you will be too! 10/14/14 - Eastside is once again, a distinguished school.  For this, and for the efforts of our students, teachers, administration, community and the BCPS family, we should be applauded.  Congratulations to former Eastside principal Ms. Bonita Franklin, last year’s 8th grade class, and to all who contributed to this success. Back to back Distinguished is not easy to obtain.

08/25/14 - 8th Grade Parents:  There will be an informational meeting concerning the 8th Grade Washington D.C. Trip on Thursday, August 28 at 6:00 pm, in the EMS cafeteria.  During this meeting we will be discussing: The Trip Itinerary, Trip Cost, and Fundraising.  Also, we will be answering any questions and addressing any concerns you might have about the trip.

09/27/13 - Eastside would like to commend our students for their performance on last years Unbridled Learning Statewide Test.  Based on their efforts Eastside has been labeled Distinguished as well as a High Performing School/High Progress School.  Eastside ranks 1st among all Bullitt County Schools and 25th out of 331 middle schools state wide.  Way to go Eastside!  Keep up the good work.

09/24/13 - We would like to say thank you to the Eastside Community for helping us win the Ultimate Teacher's Lounge.  Keep an eye on the website and we will post pictures of the transformation when it begins.  Again, thanks for all your support!

08/23/03 - Do you use Infinite Campus Parent Portal to keep track of your child's grades?  Did you know there is an app for that?  Currently there is an iOS (Apple) app and an Android app available on their respective App Stores.  Just download the app and use the same username and password you use to log into Parent Portal on the computer.  Use KKYDKK as the district code.
