Congratulations Eastside Band Members! On
Saturday, April 27th, the EMS Concert Band traveled to Ohio to
participate in the Showcase Music Festival. The band received a
Distinguished Rating with scores of 97 and 98. They placed 1st
in their category of Middle School Concert Band Class A;
Received Outstanding Section Awards for Percussion and Trumpets;
and Won the Overall Award in MS/JH Instrumental All Classes.

05/06/13 - Congratulations to the Eastside Track and
Field Teams. They competed in the All County Meet last
Thursday. The girls team placed 1st and the boys team
placed 2nd. Results will be posted when they are received.

Do you have old
technology sitting around your home or business? Please consider donating it
for Eastside’s Technology Recycling Fundraiser. Parents
and students can drop-off these old working or non-working items
to help the school raise money for new technology: Desktop
computers, laptops, computer monitors, cell phones, tablets, mp3
players, printers and printer cartridges, as well as electrical
wiring and power cords. Items
can be dropped off before, after or during school. We
cannot accept
TV's. |

Can you run fast, jump high or throw far? You
should try out for track. E.M.S. is hosting optional
conditioning this week on Tuesday and Thursday from 4:15 to 5:30
at B.E. Track try-outs are on Monday 25th at E.M.S. from 3 to 4.

Governor's Cup this past weekend. Congratulations on this
accomplishment! They will now move on to compete at the
regional level.
