04/23/14 - Dear Eastside Middle School Student, Parent, Teacher, or other Stakeholder:  As you probably know Mrs. Bonita Franklin, Eastside Middle School’s founding principal, has decided to retire at the end of this year after a very successful career as an educator at many levels in BCPS.  We all appreciate her vision of excellence that has made Eastside one of the top middle schools in Kentucky and now it is time for the site-based decision making council to select her successor.  To do this, we need your help and ask you to take a very short survey to help us clarify what our community wants in Eastside’s next leader.  Please click on the link below.  The survey will be open from now through 12:00 PM on April 30th.  The council will review the data from the survey responses at a meeting to be held on May 5th, where we will finalize the criteria to use in selecting the next principal. Thank you for your assistance. Sincerely, Keith Davis, Superintendent, Eastside Principal Selection Council Chair, On behalf of the EMS SBDM Council.
