More News and Information

Old Mill has been having its Fall Conferences over the past few days with our scheduled evening conferences on Oct 23. We have implemented a new program called “The Leader in Me” which has a goal to guide students into being better leaders and more accountable for their own learning. One expectation is to have students develop their own Student Data Notebook by collecting various data to provide evidence of learning as measured on various assessments, work samples/products, etc. A second expectation is to have students report their progress to parents and teachers using evidence collected in their Student Data Notebooks. We would like to have feedback from parents/guardians as to their perspective of this new journey in helping students reach their fullest potential in learning and leadership. Please click on the Survey Monkey link below to answer 6 questions by November 1, 2014. We value your input and will use this data as we continue to improve our instructional program at OMES. Thank you.
