Located approximately twenty miles from downtown Louisville, Kentucky, Bullitt East High School resides in the heart of Bullitt County.  The community of Mount Washington embraces Bullitt East with its hospitality and good will.  Currently serving nearly 1,200 students, Bullitt East is expected to grow considerably in the upcoming years.  In order to accommodate the extraordinary growth in student enrollment, we are in the process of facility modifications and additions that will enable educators to meet the needs of students at East.  With the opening of school in 2006 came a four-phase construction project at BEHS; this project includes the renovation of a wing of science classrooms, which was completed in December 2006, a new library and administrative wing, the creation of a sixteen-classroom addition, and the renovation of the school’s interior.  If you have any questions, concerns, or comments, please feel free to contact the Webmaster, Mr. Nate Tackett.
