- Mini-Grant Applications-At the November meeting, the Council reviewed the budget in light of final allocations. As there was an increase in the budget of $4,289, the Council called for applications from teachers, teams, or departments applying for mini-grants. Five grant applications were submitted. The Council approved three of the five. Approved were a grant for audio books, a slab roller for the visual arts department, and a request to supplement the purchase of SRA reading materials for the special education department; the Crusade for Children grant amount awarded would not cover the full purchase. Not approved were the request for a network laser printer as the copiers can be set up to function as printers for the computers across the building, and a request for grammar software as the school will be implementing SuccessMaker software within the next month.
