5/28/10 - Eastside went to King's Island yesterday.  Close to 500 of our students made the trip.  We filled up 11 school buses.  Click here for a peak at the fun.

5/14/10 - Eastside’s Junior Beta Club will be collecting money from May 17 thru May 21 in order to help the Nashville Flood Victims.  You may bring in cash or checks.  All checks should be made out to “Eastside Boosters”.  All money collected will go to the Nashville relief effort.  The homeroom that brings in the most money, will when a special party!  Let’s all join in to give to a worthy cause!  See the video for an idea of how much Nashville needs our help.

5/13/10 - The 6th grade archery team finished 31st in the nation with a team score of 3037.  The highest score a 6th grade team has ever achieved at EMS.  The 7th/8th grade team finished 51st in the Nation with a score of 3068. Also, the highest for Eastside ever.  There were 200 teams competing at each level.  Way to go Archers on a great season!

5/12/10 - Congratulations to the Eastside Middle School Concert Band.  On Saturday, May 8th the Eastside Middle School Concert Band Received the following awards at Music Showcase Festivals in Ohio: Outstanding Bass Clarinet Solo, Outstanding Piccolo Solo, Superior Rating 1st Place Concert Band Class A and 1st Place Overall - Middle & Jr. High Instrumental All Classes.  Way to go Band Students!!

5/04/10 - A  HUGE  thank you goes to our PTSO for the goodies today to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Day!   Our PTSO is by far the best in the state!  That may be just our opinion, but we are entitled to it.  Thanks Ladies!!

4/22/10 -  The boys and girls track teams competed in the All county Track Meet on Wednesday.  The boys team came in first place and the girls finished second.  Congratulations to both team on a successful season.   Click here to see our top finishers.

4/14/10 - Ms Grant would like everyone to know that we raised over $1500.00 for the American Heart Association during our Hoops or Heart Day.  Katherine Jump was our top fund raiser.  Thanks again to all who participated and helped with this great event.
