Dear Hebron Family:

We have a new teacher for the 6^th grade mathematics position.  His name is René Jeanty.  He is originally from Haiti and speaks fluent French and English. He has a background in Civil and Geotechnical engineering.  Rene is in the Alternative Certification program at U of L, and comes to us with substitute teaching experience in Jefferson County, as well as a wealth of knowledge. 

On the personal side, he has three children and enjoys playing the piano and organ.  He will officially start teaching on January 12^th.  When you meet him, you will find him to be warm, friendly, and sincere.  He is also very student oriented.
