GENERAL SUPPLY LIST for all grades

2007-2008 school year

Individual teachers and teams will have specific supplies to add at orientation

The Basics:

1. LOTS of # 2 pencils-store extras in locker
2. 5 solid color pocket/prong folders- assorted colors   
3. 1 combination lock (NO keyed locks are allowed--practice opening this at home)
4. 1 expandable file with at least 5 sections for Language Arts
5. Blue or black pens
6. Red pens- for corrections and editing only
7. Lots of loose-leaf notebook paper       *7^th grade see note  below
8. Several spiral notebooks
9. A roll of white paper towels (generic is fine)
10. A box of tissues  (PLEASE!!  these are sorely needed during winter cold season)
11. A box of colored pencils or skinny markers
12. Hand sanitizer
13. Highlighters
14. A calculator with a square root key

7^th grade ONLY:                                                                                                                   

·        A1-1/2 to 2 inch three-ring binder for use in Social Studies - with loose-leaf paper inside. (Generic, cast-off, used binders are fine)                                               

·        Tabbed dividers for binder                                                                                                 

·        Two glue sticks (left in Social Studies for projects)   

·        College ruled loose leaf paper   

·        A can of Oust-type air freshener or Glade plug-ins refills                           

8^th grade ONLY

·        2 composition books

Please do not buy rolling backpacks!  These are a hallway tripping hazard and will NOT fit into the lockers.
