Fall Picture Day
October 1, 2014

Kona Ice
October 2, 2014
Prices: $2-$5

Just a few reminders...

Just a reminder about our first Family Night of this year. Please plan on stopping in and eating Monday night, September 22, from 4 – 10 at Aspen Creek in Fern Creek. A portion of all sales will be donated back to MWES. What an easy and delicious way to support our school! This will help us with our goal of purchasing more IPads and laptops for students.

The PTA will continue our Fall Fling Dances this week.  Grades 4 & 5 will be held September 26th from 4–5. All dances are $5 and will include pizza, drink and lots of fun!! Students will be dismissed from the dance through the back entrance following regular car rider procedures. If you do not have either a regular car rider pass or an activity pass, you will need to request one for your windshield. Just indicate that you need a pass on the dance envelope.

Fall Picture Day has been set for October 1st.

Kona Ice will return to MWES on October 2nd from 1 – 3. Prices range from $2-$5. Our giveback check last visit was almost $300!

Fall Break is coming up quickly. Bullitt County students will be enjoying Fall Break October 6-13. School will not be in session.

Community Partners for Reading
We need volunteers who are willing to commit 30 minutes weekly, at your convenience, read with a child at MWES. We would love to have you join us in our effort to make a difference in a child's life! To learn more or to volunteer, please contact Lyn Morris.

Box Tops for Education Pay
Keep sending in your neatly cut BOX TOP$ on a Box Top entry form that you may pick up from the office (or click here to print one).

You may also send in Box Tops that have been neatly cut out in a ziplock bag. Please place BONUS Box Tops in a separate bag. Please label how many Box Tops are in the bag and the student’s name on the outside of the bag.

We are also taking part in a national fundraising program sponsored by Tyson Foods, Inc. called Tyson Project A+™. Through this program, we can raise as much as $12,000 for our school this year! All we have to do to participate is clip and save the entire Project A+™ label from participating Tyson products. Each label we collect is worth 24˘ for our school. For more information, including eligible products click here.
