PTA Fundraiser Celebration

Just a few reminders...

There will be NO SCHOOL November 3rd or 4th. Please take time to vote on Tuesday and model good citizenship for our students.

We are getting rather busy here at MWES! You will want to make note of the following dates:

Nov. 7: PTA Movie Night from 4–7 pm for grades 3 – 5. Permission slips have been sent home.
Nov. 10: PTA Meeting at 7 pm in school library. Please try to attend. We will be discussing our Winter Fest.
Nov. 11: Veteran’s Day program at 2 pm
Nov. 13: Picture Retakes
Nov. 14: PTA Movie Night from 4–7 pm for grades K-2

Just a reminder of our car rider procedures. Every event after school will have pick up in the back following the same routine as regular afternoon pick up. You will need to display your MWES Car Rider tag in the front window of your vehicle. If you do not have your tag, you will need a photo ID and will need to come to come inside in order to get a day pass. If your child is normally a bus rider and is staying for an event, please request a car rider pass prior to the event. This is for student safety and is not meant to cause an inconvenience for parents.

Community Partners for Reading
We need volunteers who are willing to commit 30 minutes weekly, at your convenience, read with a child at MWES. We would love to have you join us in our effort to make a difference in a child's life! To learn more or to volunteer, please contact Lyn Morris.

Box Tops for Education Pay
Keep sending in your neatly cut BOX TOP$ on a Box Top entry form that you may pick up from the office (or click here to print one).

You may also send in Box Tops that have been neatly cut out in a ziplock bag. Please place BONUS Box Tops in a separate bag. Please label how many Box Tops are in the bag and the student’s name on the outside of the bag.

We are also taking part in a national fundraising program sponsored by Tyson Foods, Inc. called Tyson Project A+™. Through this program, we can raise as much as $12,000 for our school this year! All we have to do to participate is clip and save the entire Project A+™ label from participating Tyson products. Each label we collect is worth 24˘ for our school. For more information, including eligible products click here.
