MWES Faculty and Staff...
Mrs. Lewis comes to MWES from Pleasant Grove
and Roby Elementary Schools, where she recently
served as a Curriculum Coach, sharing her in depth
knowledge of the Bullitt County Curriculum.
Mrs. Lewis has been a member of the Bullitt County
Community as a teacher for 17 years after having
begun her teaching career in Spencer County in 1981.
Mrs. Lewis and her
husband, Phil, have been married for 31 years and
have 3 children: Andrew, Austin and Aubrey. She is a
proud grandmother to Oliver Scout, born in the
summer of 2010. Two Labrador Retrievers (Molly and
Boomer) round out the Lewis household. Mrs. Lewis is
a member of 9th and O Baptist Church. She
enjoys singing, reading and babysitting for Scout!
Alicia Franklin, Guidance Counselor web
Mrs. Franklin comes to
MWES after serving as school counselor at Cedar
Grove Elementary. She first came to teach in
Bullitt County in the fall of 2000 when she was
hired as the music teacher at Overdale Elementary.
Mrs. Franklin holds a bachelor’s degree in music
education and a master’s degree in education from
Morehead State University; her master’s degree in
school counseling is from the University of
Louisville. Mrs. Franklin is also National Board
certified in early/middle childhood music.
Mrs. Franklin and her
husband, Cameron, have two daughters, Addison and
Harper. The Franklin family is
proud to call the Mount Washington community ‘home’.
Away from school Mrs. Franklin loves spending time
with her family, baking, scrapbooking and
biking. Mrs. Franklin and her family are members of Highview Baptist Church and enjoy activities there
