The North Bullitt FCCLA raised $900 for the March of Dimes which helps support research for premature babies.  They also received a plaque for the money they raised.

Upcoming events include: Day of the Dead, people will have their faces painted white and will be called out of class, each person will represent a person that's died because of a drinking and driving accident.  They will also be showing a video about drinking and driving to seniors before prom.

The North Bullitt chapter of FCCLA attended the 61st annual state leadership meeting.  At the Galt House from March 15-17.  Mrs. Farris and 10 FCCLA officers attended.  They attended many meetings and learned about money management and FCS careers.  All of the girls that attended had a really good time and the underclassmen are very excited about the trip next year.  Candidates for next year's President and Vice-President will be voted for towards the end of the year and announced at the FCCLA Banquet. 

 

FCCLA: The ultimate leadership experience is a student organization (ran by students)  to help young men and women become leaders and address important personal, family and societal issues.  FCCLA was established in 1945 as one of the fastest growing student organizations in Kentucky.  FCCLA is always looking for new members, so if your looking for a great club to be involved with next year join FCCLA, the ultimate leadership experience.
