It was a beautiful morning for a walk.

The first annual PGE Dolphin Dash took place on Wednesday, September 30th.

The students raised just over $10,200 by collecting sponsorships and selling personal and business ad space to be distributed in a catalog to all students.  Money raised will be used to bring new technologies to our building.  The walk included tons of fun as the kids participated with the Eastside Eagle and Ms. Sewell in the Cuban Shuffle.  Students were also seen hopping, skipping and doing the limbo.

They were cheered on by various mascots and personalities along the way such as the Bullitt East cheerleaders, the Bullitt County attendance bear, Parkie of Park Community, the inflatable monkey from A-1 Storage, Mt. Washington Fire Dept., Officer Troutman of Mt. Washington Police Dept., Mr. "Rock-n-Roll" Durham.  Refreshing water was supplied to the walkers before heading back to the classrooms.  A special thanks goes out to all the community for making this event fun and successful!

Please plan to become an active member of our PTO.  We need to hear your ideas and see you at our meetings.  Our meeting dates have been set and are listed below.  Please add them to your calendar and make plans to attend.
