Superheroes at Work
We want to give a BIG SHOUT OUT to the following students who were our recent Splash Ticket Winners. Way to show off your superpowers, students!
Cayden Scott Lincoln Haubeil Madison Hennig
Noah Sturgill Kolton Durbin Gracie Wuest
Way to go, Dustin Norton and Devin Shinkle for being Watch DOG’s last week. We greatly appreciate your time, dedication, and involvement at PGE! Our kids and staff truly enjoyed spending the day with both of you.
Jessica Fust and Amanda Franzman did an outstanding job with helping make picture day a success! We greatly appreciate your time and dedication to PGE!
Ford Family Dental for making a donation to PGE to help keep our students safe. The 2-way radios we currently use are old and aren’t working properly. We use these during the day as a form of communication for the following reasons: teachers take children to recess and need to report an injury or need assistnace, the counselor or principal are needed throughout the day for emergencies, etc.
This past week, PTA officers gave up 2 hours of their time to attend a training with the state PTA Coordinator ~ just another example of the extraordinary support PGE parents provide to our school. We are very fortunate! Thank you, Kristi Royall, Debbie Hudson, Angie Gray, and Andrea Hartell!
The East Cross Country Team competed in the Rumble in the Jungle meet this past weekend and the Elementary Girls Team placed 1st out of 24 teams. The majority of runners for this meet were from Pleasant Grove. THEY RAN AWESEOME!!!

All excuse notes – doctor or parent – need to be turned in within five (5) business days of the student’s absence. In the past, we’ve been flexible with this. This year, we are unable to go back into the attendance system and mark absences unexcused once we’ve passed the 5 day window upon the student’s return. If you have any questions, please contact Angela LaPierre, Attendance Clerk, at 869-3400 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Lost and Found
If your child has lost any clothing, lunchboxes, etc. this school year, please have them check the lost and found in the cafeteria by Friday, September 26. Any items left by the end of the school day on September 26 will be donated to a local charity.
World School Milk Day 2014
Kentucky dairy farmers work hard every day to provide PGE students with the nutritious milk we drink with our school breakfast and lunch. In recognition of World School Milk Day on September 24, we want to thank them for this Powerhouse Beverage and helping our school be Fuel Up with Milk Superheroes!
Thank you for your continued support and involvement. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
