Riverview High School

Riverview was established in 1993 as the fourth public high school in Bullitt County. It was designed for dropouts, students who are academically at risk or students having a documented family/personal problem that indicates enrollment in a traditional school is not feasible. Riverview’s small classes and individual attention are just what some students need to get back on track and find the road to graduation. Individualized leaning takes away the pressure of keeping up with the rest of the class. Students work independently and at a pace that is comparable to their abilities. They are expected to complete at least six high school credits per year and reach graduation in a timely manner. Riverview is currently using Novel Star, an online web-based curriculum. The rigorous courses are research-based and aligned with state and national curriculum standards to ensure Riverview students cover the educational topics necessary to succeed in high school and beyond.
